Reporting to the Community Health Manager, the Community Health Educator is responsible for all aspects of Program Implementation for our Parent Zone classes.

Responsibilities

Implementation:

  • Obtain necessary certification in Triple P levels 2,3,4
  • Provide Triple P education to registered participants throughout San Antonio.
  • Promotion and outreach for class to San Antonio and greater area.
  • Creation of class schedules to include nights and weekends and demonstrate excellence in attendance in accordance with established schedules.
  • Administer all required programmatic testing with adherence to reporting results including observations.
  • Keep accurate and detailed case notes on client participation and progress
  • Utilize Salesforce and Signify data systems to track participants, receive referrals from other organizations, and refer participants to other orgs for support.
  • Attend, at minimum, mandatory trainings and workshops specified by position and maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Participates in all program and organizational staff meetings and team development workshops.
  • Comply with established guidelines outlined in scope of work areas of funding.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Qualifications

Specific requirements include:

  • Certification in Triple P levels 2, 3, and 4 (certification provided through MSWC if candidate does not currently hold)
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent – Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 yrs. Previous teaching experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
  • Demonstrated proficiency and ease in data entry and computer skills
  • Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced growth-oriented environment

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

JOB TITLE: Data Associate                                              Position type: PT 30 hours per week $15.25 per hour

The data associate will accompany Martinez Street Women’s Center staff through the transition to the Salesforce database and assist with contract data requirements.

Martinez Street Women’s Center has worked at the grassroots level in community for over 20 years providing transformative community health services, youth development programs and advocacy opportunities that empower women and girls of color.

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with Salesforce data entry processes for Community Health and Girl Zone programs
  • Provide staff training for data entry (once the process is learned)
  • Provide data entry support to staff
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce problems with staff
  • Communicate regularly with Salesforce contractor to ensure Salesforce is operating as expected
  • Learn reporting processes for contracts and grants
  • Facilitate Salesforce data extraction for reporting
  • Provide staff training for data extraction

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and/or equivalent with relevant experience– Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details

  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Evidence of successfully planning and organizing work with short- and long-term timeframes.
